Mike Stodden, P.T.Mike Stodden, P.T.
Mike Stodden, P.T., has been a physical therapist for 11 years. Mike graduated form the University of South Dakota with a Bachelors degree in Biology. He then attended the University of Iowa and received his Masters in Physical Therapy. Mike began his career as a physical therapist in York, NE. His duties included management of inpatient therapy, as well as working in the outpatient clinic. Soon after working in York, Mike was promoted to clinic director of Fremont Physical Therapy, an outpatient and sports physical therapy clinic in Fremont, NE. Mike built the clinic from the ground up by hiring his own staff, developing referral sources, and acquiring insurance contracts. Mike and his wife Jennifer then moved to Onawa, IA, where Jennifer is currently a physician assistant. In Onawa, Mike was the Rehab Director for Burgess Health Center for 6 years. His duties there included: management of the rehab team, inpatient and outpatient therapy, and home health therapies. He also volunteered in sports injury and game coverage for the local high school. Mike had the opportunity to open his own outpatient/sports rehab clinic in Elkhorn, NE in July of 2004. The clinic has grown consistently in staff and volume over the past three and a half years. In April of 2007, Stodden Physical Therapy expanded and opened a satellite physical therapy clinic in Gretna, NE.

Mike has a varied array of experience ranging from orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, sports testing, post operative care, brace fitting, home exercise plans and development, throwing evaluations, ergonomics, work injuries, and wound care. Mike also is a clinic instructor for Physical Therapy Programs of Creighton and the University of Iowa, and Physical Therapy Assistant programs of Clarkson and Norfolk Community College. Mike is very enthusiastic about the field of physical therapy. He enjoys working with patients to help them get back to their normal life whether that is athletics, work, or just everyday life.

Mike and Jennifer have 2 children, Alex and Sydney. He enjoys spending time with them very much. Mike is a sports enthusiast which includes basketball, football, and golfing. Other interests for Mike include music performance, travel, and family time.

Andrew ConsbruckAndrew Consbruck DPT
Andrew graduated from Creighton University’s doctorate program in May of 2004. Andrew has had a well-rounded background in physical therapy due to the variety experience with clinicals in Lake Havasu, Az, Waterloo, Ia, Grangeville, Id, Lincoln, Ne., Mitchell, S.D., and Onawa Ia. Andrew previously worked as the director of physical therapy in Missouri Valley at Community Memorial Hospital from 2004 to 2006 prior to being hired on at Stodden Physical Therapy. Duties at Missouri Valley included: outpatient orthopedics, inpatient physical therapy, wound care, and staff coordination and development. Andrew’s wife Tammy graduated from Creighton’s Occupational Therapy clinical doctorate program in December of 2003. Andrew and Tammy have two children. Andrew enjoys golfing, basketball, and is an avid Creighton athletics fan.

Shelley VanAckerenShelley VanAckeren, PTA
Shelley graduated from Northeast Community College in 1995 where she received her Physical Therapist Assistant degree. She started her career at the Norfolk Nursing Center right after graduation until June of 1996. She then went to work for Faith Regional Health Services where she did outpatient rehab for 5 years with occasional home health and nursing home visits. She then moved to acute care until July of 2006. Her family moved to Omaha in July of 2006 where she started working for Alegent Health at Bergan Mercy. While there she did outpatient orthopedic, sports and geriatric rehab until February of 2009 when she joined the Stodden Physical Therapy family. She is married to Jeremy VanAckeren who is an Assistant Principal at Papillion LaVista Junior High. Their children are Quintin, Macey, and Jayda. Shelley enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Mark RathjenMark Rathjen, DPT
Mark graduated from the Des Moines university Physical Therapy doctorate program in 2006. Prior to that he attended the University of Nebraska Lincoln where he graduated with a degree in Exercise Science in 2003. Since graduating, Mark has worked at Methodist Physical therapy in outpatient orthopedics as a staff therapist, then in 2007 moved to Lincoln, working at ST. Elizabeth Physical Therapy for over 2 yrs, Mark worked as a therapist in Inpatient critical care, burn unit, occupational rehab, sports and orthopedics, in both out patient clinics and in hospital setting. Also at that time, Mark assisted with student education/internships, and coordinated student volunteering in the Physical therapy dept throughout the hospital. In July of 2009, Mark joined the Stodden Physical Therapy family. Mark is married to Claire Lakatos-Rathjen, who is also a physical therapist who works in outpatient and sports rehab. In his spare time, Mark enjoys exercise, travel and sports.

Aaron KosbaAaron Kozba, DPT
Aaron earned his doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2008. In 2004 he graduated from the University of Nebraska Lincoln where he majored in Biology. Aaron’s past experience in rehabilitation include two years of orthopedics with Excel Physical Therapy. He also works PRN for Brookestone Meadows skilled nursing facility. Aaron has been a member of the Stodden team since July 2010. He is married to Jen Rochelle who works in public finance for First National Bank. Aaron and Jen added a new member to the family when their son, Jake, was born in September 2010. Aaron is an avid Nebraska football fan and a loyal listener to AM Sports Radio. He enjoys spending time with the family while maintaining a happy and healthy life style.

Lauren LennardLauren Lennard
Lauren started with Stodden Physical Therapy in 2009 as a Physical Therapist Technician while enrolled at Elkhorn High School. After graduation she attended Missouri Western State University where she played soccer and received her Physical Therapist Assistant degree in 2011. While there she participated as Committee Chair on Missouri’s Student Special Interest Group for Physical Therapy. Following graduation she moved back to Nebraska where she returned to the Stodden Family as a full time PTA. She still enjoys playing soccer and spending time with family and friends.
